With the Steinberger factory located just 20 miles away in Newburgh, NY, Don was a frequent visitor and quickly became immersed in the headless guitar world that would define his legacy.
Over time, Don's passion for Steinbergers evolved into a singular focus. He made the decision to specialize exclusively in collecting Steinberger guitars and basses, amassing an impressive collection that not only fueled his own love for these innovative instruments but also allowed him to help countless musicians seeking to experience the unique qualities of Steinbergers. His dedication grew to the point that managing his collection and supporting the Steinberger community became a full-time endeavor.
Don often spoke about the "small but growing community of musicians" who truly appreciated the artistry and engineering behind these revolutionary instruments.
