Double Ball-End Guitar Strings...Calibrated for TransTrem

HeadlessUSA is proud to stock quality brands of double ball-end guitar and bass strings.
D'addario makes some of the finest strings in the world and it's products are sold in over 100 countries. Their quality is legendary.
LaBella was the first string supplier to Ned Steinberger and they are still located in Newburgh, N.Y. They are "The Originals".
HeadlessUSA is proud to announce that we are now the exclusive world distributor for the finest Steinberger strings on the planet. The LaBella string company was the original supplier to the Steinberger Sound Corporation when Ned was building his amazing Steinberger guitars and basses here in the USA. LaBella President Richard Cocco worked closely with Ned Steinberger to develop the first calibrated double ball-end strings used for the Steinberger instruments. Often imitated, but never equaled, these high-quality strings are manufactured right here in the USA.

There are three "series" of LaBella double ball-end guitar strings available. All models are listed below and available for purchase. We also offer discounts when you purchase from us in larger quantities, see here.

HeadlessUSA is proud to offer D'Addario's line of electric guitar and bass strings for Steinbergers, acclaimed worldwide for their superb, long lasting tone. We carry D'Addario's ESXL and NYXLS strings, constructed with ball ends on both ends of the strings for use on double ball-end guitars. They are precisely engineered and wound to Steinberger specifications. The ESXL series are precision wound with nickel plated steel onto a carefully drawn, hexagonally shaped, high carbon steel core. The result, strings with long lasting, distinctive bright tone and excellent intonation, is ideal for the widest variety of guitars and musical styles.

D’Addario's new line of NYXL guitar strings will bend farther, sing louder, and stay in tune better than any string you’ve played before. NYXL’s provide more strength and up to 131% greater tuning stability by utilizing a completely reinvented wire drawing process coupled with a revolutionary “fusion twist” process for the plain steels. The reformulated nickel plated string windings have greater magnetic properties resulting in higher output and enhanced mid-range frequency response for more presence and crunch.

D'Addario also produces custom single strings made of high carbon steel with double ball-ends for Steinbergers. Perfect for building custom sets, or a remedy for a broken double ball-end string. Available for purchase below with D'Addario's NYXLS and ESXL series, we also offer discounts when you purchase from us in larger quantities, see here!
