HeadlessUSA Newsletter 2

by Don Greenwald on June 30th, 2012

Hello and welcome to our second Quarterly Newsletter! We've been very busy over the last few months, and just wanted to fill you in on what's been happening and share some news on upcoming projects.

Jeff Babicz has been very busy, as more and more customers become aware of his amazing talents in restoring original Steinberger guitars and basses. Jeff has developed quite a few proprietary repair methods for these vintage Steinbergers, so he is very often sought out for Steinberger repairs of all types. Click here to read more about Jeff's years at Steinberger Sound.
Speaking of Jeff, he recently completed a custom installation project for a customer who needed a Roland MIDI pickup system installed on his GL guitar. The work came out great, and it tracks and performs beautifully. If you are interested in having this type of work done on your guitar, please contact us for pricing.

We were finally able to release GM Hardshell Cases made by the original manufacturer. We found the company that made those nice rectangular hardshell cases for Gibson in the 1980's and 1990's and got them to agree to reproduce them exactly as they originally appeared! They are beautiful, accurate, and reasonably priced. Click here to order.
We are also now offering refinishing on all wood-bodied model Steinberger guitars and basses. We are working with an extremely talented artist here in our area who has been producing some beautiful results. Whether you'd like us to duplicate an original Steinberger finish or you'd like us to produce a one-of-a-kind custom color or graphic, we are ready and able to accommodate your requests. Contact us.
We're slowly reproducing more vintage Steinberger hardware. We are just about to begin production on some impossible to find parts for the TransTrem. We will be fabricating the TransTrem jaws and TransTrem pins for both types of TransTrem, Versions #1 and #2. To our knowledge, this will be the first time that these parts have been built since the 1980's. They should be available shortly.

As always, "stay tuned" to our Facebook and Twitter pages for the latest news. Be sure to watch our eBay listings too, as products are occasionally offered for sale there before they are made available on our web site.

That's it for now. Thanks for your continued support!

Stay Headless!
